Brief Description
This is a 1:24,000-scale datalayer that includes all of the roads and trails
that appear on the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) 7½ minute topographic
quadrangle maps that cover the State of Connecticut. It includes state and interstate
routes, town roads, dirt roads, traffic circles, bridges, cul-de-sacs, trails,
etc. Since this datalayer was derived from the USGS Digital Line Graph Files
(DLG) for the 1:24,000 scale Connecticut quadrangle maps published between 1969
and 1984, it does not depict all roads and trails in use today. The roads and
trails datalayer does not include street name or address information.
