Coefficients of Imperviousness

Impervious Surface Analysis Tool (ISAT)

The UConn Geospatial Technology Program (GTP) developed population density-related impervious surface coefficients in 2002, and used these in concert with the ISAT to generate IS estimates for 244 watersheds for which we had highly accurate (planimetric) impervious surface data. The correlation between ISAT results and actual impervious surface % was very strong.
